Your favourite superhero:
I’m not really a superhero type of gal. Though I would say Spiderman – only because I was lucky enough to meet Andrew Garfield who played Peter Parker (AKA Spiderman) in “The Amazing Spider-Man” movies. He was a bit of a superhero in real life providing joy and support for children living with autism.

Amy Nosworthy, Financial Adviser
Years in financial services: 18 years
The role in a nutshell:
My role is to assist clients to be on the best possible financial path to achieve their most significant life goals and needs. I am a believer in the financial product being somewhat a means to an end, with the real value of obtaining financial advice being the strategic advice and most importantly the partnership style relationship. This means having a trusted person as your sounding board, gaining financial education, confidence and knowledge, having engagement in your financial life and having someone provide behavioural management whilst you work together to achieve your goals.
Why you love working at Rethink Financial Planning:
I love working with a team of like-minded individuals where we all believe in putting the client first. We enjoy being able to laugh together, cry together, and work hard to achieve success for our clients. We are professional yet real.
We have created a truly unique office space – it’s less formal than many traditional financial planners, where we write on the walls and get you engaged in the process. The in-house café can provide clients and staff with yummy treats and delicious coffee.
Advice you wish everyone knew:
Life is about balance. I wish everyone knew that life was about living in the now as much as it is for saving for the future. At Rethink Financial Planning, we can help you achieve both.
Best career moment:
I have had a few. Earlier in my career I was proud to be the youngest authorized representative of a large financial planning dealer group. More recently I completed my Master of Financial Planning while working full time and raising two children. But on a simpler note, there is no better feeling than witnessing the happiness a client feels when they walk away from a meeting realising they have achieved their financial goals.
What you are passionate about:
My family are my world – we love the great outdoors – hiking, kayaking, , boating and water-skiing and exploring the world. I am also passionate about autism awareness and supporting people in need.
One of your biggest inspirations:
My dad. He passed away at age 54, and before he passed he told me that he had lived his life to the fullest, and had no regrets. He inspires me to live and love to the fullest and not take anything for granted.
